María Cervera joins Cattleya as head of content

Cattleya Productions hires María Cervera to lead the content area after her time at Plano a Plano, Netflix, El Estudio and Paramount, where she has until now held the position of VP Content Development for EMEAA within the international studio.

The production company specialized in the creation of fiction series and films, was founded in 2021 by ITV Studios and the Italian Cattleya (Gomorra, ZeroZeroZero, Summertime) and is directed by Arturo Diaz Ramos.

Based in Madrid, Cattleya Producciones aims to satisfy the growing demand for premium fiction in Spain and internationally and continues to strengthen its growth with the incorporation of Cervera, an executive who has extensive experience in the Spanish and international audiovisual sector.

As a content executive, Cervera has overseen an extensive catalog of national fictions among which stand out Valeria, Elite, Christmas Days, High Seas, The Cable Girls o The Alcásser Case. In her previous stage, María also participated in the development of The Prince, Down There, The Case y Serve and Protect, of which she was also co-executive producer.

In his stage in Paramount, has been involved as executive producer of Spanish series such as Better days, Stories to keep you awake, The gypsy bride, The invisible ones y Passing lies; and in international series such as A Thin Line, Chemistry of Death, The Sheikh (in Germany), or Circeo (Italia).
