Marshall introduces the CV420Ne, a 4K60 POV camera with NDI capabilities
The ultra-compact CV420Ne camera joins the catalog of Marshall with 4K resolution at 60fps and compatibility with IS HX3.
The CV420Ne incorporates a gran sensor 1/1.8″ with 9 1/2 megapixels, capable of offering 4K (UHD) resolution up to 60 fps with support for HD resolutions. The camera's 4.5mm lens offers a 100 degree ultra-wide viewing angle which provides spherical distortion-free video.
Marshall's latest camera also stands out as its pan, tilt and digital zoom features more than 250 pre-adjusts which can be saved and selected from any command source, such as the IR remote control, NDI|Tools, camera control software, web browser GUI, OBS plugins, vMix and a large number of supported codecs and devices.
With a compact (113 x 70 x 51 mm) and durable design, the CV420Ne It comes with rear protection fins to avoid inopportune falls when disconnecting the cable; a 3.5mm audio input (line/microphone) integrated into all available outputs and a Tally Light front for live streaming.
Marshall CV420Ne, NDI Compatible
Beyond all these features, the ultra-compact camera CV420Ne stands out for being compatible with the codec AND HX3, allowing the device to be used in professional proAV and broadcast applications, such as AV streaming, remote contribution, podcasting, video collaboration and a wide range of proAV and UCC installations that require a very high quality network video source.
The new NDI|HX3 format requires slightly more bandwidth than the previous one IS|HX2, but much less than that necessary for Full-NDI|HB. In this way, NDI|HX3 can offer low latency similar to that of Full-AND, with less than 100 ms end-to-end, and video quality similar to that of Full-NDI, since the camera's video quality is not lost when sent over the network.
Tod Musgrave, director of chambers of Marshall Electronics, evaluates the company's latest launch: "Marshall continues to add features to its cameras, such as the NDI|HX3, to offer its customers the latest technologies and features. Integrating NDI into our ePTZ camera, which is already equipped with USB and HDMI capabilities, is one more reason to choose Marshall."
