Jean-Christophe Perier takes over as marketing director at Globecast

After announcing its new facilities in the US, its partnership with Brklyn Media and its video headend in the AWS cloud for a major European telecommunications company, Globecast named Jean-Christophe Perier as marketing director.

In his new role, Perier will lead both marketing communications and product marketing for Globecast and is responsible for leading external communications and marketing strategy worldwide. In collaboration with his team, he will focus on continuing to deploy innovative services that satisfy a constantly evolving market, especially in the area of ​​IP and the move to the cloud. This is in addition to strengthening external communications to support the company's global strategic initiatives announced last year.

Perier provides a extensive experience in broadcast services, cloud, IPTV and OTT, having worked with clients such as Canal+, NTV+, Sky, Etisalat and Orange during his time at Technicolor and SoftAtHome. He also created and led Veygo, developing OTT and multi-screen solutions, with Huawei, Ooredoo, Telecentro and Vidgo as clients.

His appointment comes after the departure of Denis Genevois, former head of marketing at Globecast, after 22 years at the company, in which he held various management positions in the pre-sales, marketing and broadcast departments.
