SeeSound hires Gabriel Albornoz as head of the Broadcast and Studios division
With more than twenty years of experience in the professional audio sector in companies such as Digidesign (Avid), Audio-Technica and Soundware Media, SeaSound has hired Gabriel Albornoz to lead the Broadcast and Studies area.
Albornoz joins SeeSound after two years working for Soundware Media, where he was business director and was responsible for project management for clients such as Netflix.
De 2015 a 2020 Albornoz fue responsable de Audio Profesional en Audio-Technica Iberia, y se hizo cargo de marcas como Genelec, Allen & Heath, aparte de los productos de microfonía de Audio-Technica. Durante esta etapa, la compañía firmó un acuerdo con Dorna, empresa propietaria de MotoGP, convirtiéndose en partner oficial de microfonía.
Previously, Albornoz was Brand manager of various brands at Neotécnica and, previously, he was director of the magazine Produccion Audio, where he spent nine years, and was also responsible for marketing and communication at Digidesign Iberia (Avid).
Nacho Alberdi, CEO of SeeSound, highlights that "Albornoz's extensive experience and knowledge are assets of great value for our company, and will allow us to expand and make the most of opportunities in the Broadcast and Studios sector. His incorporation further strengthens our team, and will allow us to find the best strategies to continue growing and maintain our leadership position in the market."
Regarding the new Broadcast and Studios division, Alberdi points out that "SeeSound is a consolidated company in the live production sector, with cutting-edge products in sound and lighting; we are also a leading distributor in terms of display and commercial audio. Therefore, it makes perfect sense for us to now expand our markets, even more so when we talk about brands that we already had in distribution, but that require specific treatment for each sector."
Albornoz is excited about this new challenge, he acknowledges "that I feel proud to join the SeeSound team, a company that in a relatively short time has positioned itself among the leaders of professional AV distribution, with brands and a truly reference service. My goal is to raise the level of business in the specific areas of my department, providing added value in every sense and giving specific support to this client profile."
