Blue Origin, Jeff Bezos' Space X, plans its arrival in Europe
Jeff Bezos (Amazon) continues to bet on Blue Origin, an aerospace services company that could land in Europe imminently, according to information from the Financial Times.
Blue Origin It presents itself as a transversal company that, beyond luxury space flights, will aim to deploy a constellation of satellites for commercial use. In fact, some international media report data such as the objective of Blue Origin to make a minimum of 12 launches in a period of five years.
Beyond expanding its bases to European territory (already has locations in Florida, Texas and Alabama), Blue Origin CEO Bob Smith has confirmed that his objective is to acquire companies specialized in manufacturing and software to continue enhancing its aerospace business at all levels.
“I think there are great opportunities in Europe,” Smith acknowledged to the Financial Times, although he acknowledges that Blue Origin is currently “less clear” about how to “sell space services in Europe than in the United States.”
