Limecraft appoints Joris Claes as new CEO

Joris Claes takes on the role of CEO of Limecraft succeeding co-founder Maarten Verwaest, who will now be CEO and CRO and will focus on key growth drivers and new markets.

Claes' appointment represents the first stage of an ambitious growth plan for the Ghent, Belgium-based company, with other strategic appointments planned in the near future.

In 2010 VRT alumni Maarten Verwaest and Nico Oorts, together with Dieter van Rijsselbergen from UGent/Medialab, founded Limecraft with the ambition of creating a complete operating ecosystem for the audiovisual industry. Today, Limecraft profitably serves over 115 clients and countless producers, and has consistently seen growth of over 10% quarterly.

Now, Limecraft has decided to strengthen the management team with specific skills and experience: Joris Claes has a proven track record in executive management positions and has previously helped create and grow several SaaS companies.
