Asturmedia produces the international signal of the Descent of the Sella

Asturmedia, company Mediapro Group, has been in charge of the design of the transmission and production of the international signal for the Autonomous Television of the Principality of Asturias (TPA) of the International Descent of the Sella, held on Saturday, August 5 between the Asturian towns of Arriondas and Ribadesella.

A team of more than 70 professionals, with technical means from Eumovil and Overon, has participated in the transmission: 2 filmmakers, 2 producers, EVS operators, graphic artists, audio/video technicians, 27 camera operators...

The media deployment has included 2 mobile units, 9 satellite units, 27 cameras, all coordinated under the executive production of Kike Rodríguez. The broadcast on TPA reached audience ratings above 40% share.

Every year, the International Descent of the Sella, known as The canoes and declared a Festival of International Tourist Interest, it is a key event in the Asturian summer. It brings together thousands of people and combines the sporting concept with the festive during the first days of the month of August. This sporting event, which in 2023 celebrates its 85th edition, is organized by the Spanish Canoeing Federation, the Organizing Committee of the International Descent of the Sella and by the Asturian Canoeing Federation.
