Asturmedia (Mediapro) produces the international signal of the Descent of the Sella

Asturmedia, empresa de Mediapro Group, se ha encargado del diseño de la transmisión y producción de la señal internacional para la Televisión Autonómica del Principado de Asturias (TPA) del Descenso Internacional del Sella, celebrado el sábado 5 de agosto entre las localidades asturianas de Arriondas y Ribadesella.

A team of more than 70 professionals, con medios técnicos de Eumovil y Overon, ha participado en la transmisión: 2 realizadores, 2 productores, operadores de EVS, grafistas, técnicos de audio/vídeo, 27 operadores de cámara…

The media deployment has included 2 mobile units, 9 satellite units, 27 cameras, all coordinated under the executive production of Kike Rodríguez. The broadcast on TPA reached audience ratings above 40% share.

Every year, the International Descent of the Sella, known as The canoes and declared a Festival of International Tourist Interest, it is a key event in the Asturian summer. It brings together thousands of people and combines the sporting concept with the festive during the first days of the month of August. This sporting event, which in 2023 celebrates its 85th edition, is organized by the Spanish Canoeing Federation, the Organizing Committee of the International Descent of the Sella and by the Asturian Canoeing Federation.
