The Australian Videocraft will bring the cinematic feeling to broadcast content with the Fujinon Duvo 25-1000
The new goal Fujinon Duvo HZK25-1000mmF2.8-5.0 CineBox PL Fujifilm will land in Australia with the help of Videocraft, broadcast solutions provider.
He Fujinon Duvo 25-1000 uses innovative optical design technology to achieve maximum aperture of F2.8 and a relationship of zoom the 40x. This ultra-high zoom ratio lens is compatible with the large sensors of digital cinema cameras, yet provides luminosity of F2,8 in wide angle. Not only does it allow for filming in low-light environments, such as indoor concerts or nighttime events, but the shallow depth of field creates the bokeh which provides the much sought after cinematic look. Videocraft's sales director, James Taylor, considers that this union of the worlds broadcast and cinematographic “marks a before and after”, the objective being “the most interesting that has come to the market in the last twenty years”.
Videocraft's requirements for purchasing a new lens for top-tier productions were to have a unit that was much more quick than existing long focal length zoom lenses and which had image stabilization and full servo control so your technicians didn't have to spend extra time adding motors and calibrating the system. "When the Duvo 25-1000 was launched, it was the first lens that really fit our needs. The 25mm focal length at the wide end allows us to easily get the wide shot of the stage, but moving up to 1000mm we can also get the close shot, so it becomes the lens that does it all. Most importantly, the image stabilizer makes the long focal length usable across the range," says Taylor.
Videocraft has invested a significant amount over the last year in renewing its entire fleet of lenses, and Fujinon has been a key partner in this important investment. Taylor elaborates: "As part of our major lens refresh, we have acquired the Fujinon UA46x and UA125x UHD B4 mount zooms, as well as strengthening our range of Fujinon Cabrio 19-90 and 25-300" zoom lenses. However, the new Duvo 25-1000 is truly the crown jewel of our lens fleet, and we are very excited about this particular investment."
The Managing Director of Fujifilm Australia, Optical Devices and Electronic Imaging Division, Shaun Mah, said about the purchase: "Time and time again, Videocraft demonstrates why it has been at the forefront of the Australian production landscape for so many years, always purchasing the best equipment to meet the needs of its customers and the market. We are delighted to be one of Videocraft's main technology partners and we look forward to seeing its Duvo 25-1000 in action in Australia very soon."
