Telos IBC 2023

First unveiled at NAB in Las Vegas, the new Studio Zero cloud-based studio solution, made possible by a partnership between Telos Alliance e Ip-Studio, has made its European debut at IBC 2023.

Jerome Gahery, president of Ip-Studio, explains that "Studio Zero allows broadcasters to create a creative environment in which conventional hardware elements, such as automation and broadcast systems, consoles, intercoms, telephone systems, even audio processing and the delivery of a composite signal to the transmitter, are replaced by cloud-based software alternatives. Cutting-edge broadcasters seeking greater flexibility and economies of scale tell us that they greatly appreciate the advantages gained with this focus.”

This joint initiative, Ip-Studio Powered by Telos Alliance, highlights collaboration by showing the virtual mixing desk Axia Altus controlled by Ip-tablet from Ip-Studio, and the virtual VoIP phone system Telos VXs controlled by IP-screener. The virtual intercom platform Telos Infinity VIP and virtual audio processing software All Enterprise 9s with uMPX are also on display as part of the Zero Studio concept.

Peter Passian, Senior Director of Eastern Hemisphere Sales at Telos Alliance, observes "the very nature of a studio's core is undergoing rapid transformation. The need to serve a diverse remote workforce has accelerated the shift towards cloud-centric environments. However, the truly compelling aspect of Studio Zero lies in the seamless integration of our virtual solutions with those of our colleagues at Ip-Studio, culminating in a turnkey resource that broadcasters can adopt and deploy right now."
