TV Monaco

With the support of That's it, TV Monaco, a subsidiary of the French TV5 Monde, has begun to operate as the first public television channel in the city-state.

TV Monaco's new facilities include a broadcast studio with associated control room and a newsroom for the network's journalists. For the Qvest team it was crucial to create a scalable work environment, collaborative and especially agile.

With this configuration, the network's staff prepares and publishes television programs daily for international and local distribution in the Principality of Monaco. Qvest's area of ​​responsibility included the conception and orchestration of all workflows broadcast infrastructure, as well as media asset management (MAM) and newsroom control system (NRCS).

For the latter, Qvest carried out an innovative concept: With the implementation of NXTedition, a particularly efficient solution was established for end-to-end MAM and NRCS workflows. In terms of the amount of data to be processed, Qvest has implemented one of the largest NXTedition installations in the world for TV Monaco.

“All-in-one” broadcast

For the broadcast of local and international programs, TV Monaco chose the product tag from Qvest, the all-in-one broadcast automation for broadcasters, publishers and content owners.

makalu enables a complete signal workflow from start to finish, from intake to distribution, and covers other media tasks such as storage, the transcoding, los graphics and the emission. This makes the station perfectly prepared for the demands of a competitive media landscape with changing audience preferences. In addition, Qvest was responsible for establishing the television network's computer network. This includes the needs analysis, conception and installation of the entire IT environment in all departments and functional areas of TV Monaco.

The Qvest team worked closely with the French systems integrator CVS Engineering and completed the project within a very tight deadline. CVS Engineering was responsible for the installation of the audio and video infrastructure, the design and construction of the studio and gallery, as well as the complete wiring of the facility. T
