‘Alexia: Labor Omnia Vincit’ by You First, the only Spanish production nominated for the International Emmy Awards

La docuserie ‘Alexia: Labor Omnia Vincit’, formato íntegramente producido por You First Originals, forma parte de la lista de nominados a los International Emmy Awards en la categoría de “Mejor Documental Deportivo”.

Directed by Joanna Pardos, Alexia: Labor Omnia Vincit es la única producción española nominada en todas las categorías de la 51ª edición de los International Emmy Awards, awards that recognize the most relevant global television content of the year.

At the documentary, by three episodes, premiered on November 30 of last year in Prime Video internationally with notable critical and public success, coinciding with the rise of women's football and the career of Alexia Putellas. Just a few weeks before, the most successful footballer in history had won her second Ballon d'Or, the FIFA The Best award and the Best Player in Europe award for UEFA, among others. The documentary follows Putellas' rise while revealing lights and shadows and her obsession with being the best soccer player in the world.

Onza Distribution celebra la nominación de Forever

La ficción portuguesa Forever también ha sido nominada a la categoría de mejor telenovela en la 51ª edición de los International Emmy Awards. Produced by TVI y Plural Entertainment Portugal, relata la vida de Pedro (Diogo Morgado: Payback, The Bible), la cual siempre ha estado rodeada de misterio: fue abandonado de niño y creció en una iglesia. “Lo único que siempre ha tenido sentido para él es su primer amor, Clara (Inês Castel-Branco: Mar Salgado; Conta-me como foi), pero tuvo que separarse de ella tras un trágico suceso… El destino, sin embargo, volverá a unirlos y Pedro se propondrá reconquistar a Clara, cueste lo que cueste, incluso aunque esté comprometida con su hermano biológico, el hombre a quien salvará”, relata la sinopsis de la telenovela.

La noticia ha sido especialmente celebrada por Onza Distribution, que se encuentra en posesión de los derechos de venta de Forever all over the world.
