RTVE, À Punt and IB3 film 'Eighteen' with the aim of breaking prejudices about immigration
RTVE, Á Punt Media e IB3 They promote 'Eighteen', a six-episode series with a message against prejudices about immigration whose filming has already begun in the Valencian Community and the Canary Islands.
Eighteen has Hammudi Al-Rahmoun Font (Mariachis, El Chapo, Tijuana, Otel·lo) as showrunner; It is written by Pau Escribano and Damià Serra Cauchetiez; co-directed by Hammudi Al-Rahmoun Font and Damià Serra Cauchetiez, and features Andreu Adam as director of photography. In the main cast, headed by Maël Rouin-Berrandou and Alicia Falcó (second season of To be or not to be), Tarik Rmili, Ann Perelló, Abdelatif Hwidar, María Poquet and Pep Tosar, among others, stand out.
The filming of this series of six chapters of thirty minutes each under the production of Little Dreams Films AIE, Seven Audiovisual Magic, The Fly Hunter y Empatic Films to RTVE Play, To Medium Point and IB3 is already underway. Set in the city of Valencia, it began its journey on October 9 in different locations in Valencia and Gran Canaria.
This is the synopsis of Eighteen, a production that talks about "false lies, misunderstandings and people who always walk on alert": "Cèlia and Moha meet in a kitchen. For Cèlia this job is a sentence: a judge has condemned her to work hours at the service of the community. For Moha this job is a prize that brings her closer to her goal of getting the roles. Although it may not seem like it, they have a lot in common and they will discover it as they both overcome their prejudices and begin to see each other as they are in reality.”
