The dressing room

Movistar Plus+ premieres 'El dressing room', a new original program produced in collaboration with The Terrace, on Monday, November 6. Pablo Novoa and Litus, accompanied by the 'Late Motiv' band (Erika, Pirata, Mac and Coke), take the lead in a new format in which music and conversation will be the main protagonists.

Each week, they will go through The dressing room three top-level musicians with different profiles to talk, improvise and create new versions of well-known songs with the rest of the band.

We will be able to see the artists away from the big spotlights on the stage and we will enjoy interesting talks between musicians: they will talk about their careers, their creative processes, their fears, they will tell funny anecdotes and improvise their own and other people's songs in an intimate and relaxed atmosphere. In this very special dressing room they will talk about flamenco, composers, Rock and Roll or women in the music industry, among many other topics.

The dressing room Jorge Ortiz de Landázuri, executive producer of Movistar Plus+, comments that "we want Spanish musicians to feel that Movistar Plus+ is their natural habitat, their home. Our commitment to music is firm, constant and growing: with abundant documentary series or feature-length documentaries by artists such as Raphael, Miguel Bosé, David Bisbal or C.Tangana, with anthology programs such as Pop, Songs that changed the world, Melodic o Greatest Hits that talked about popular music, with unique live concerts such as Columbus Day, or with musical entertainment programs such as That’s my Jam o The dressing room, where live music and complicity with musicians and music is its reason for being.”

"This program is based on a triangle of people with a passion for the profession of musician. Andreu Buenafuente and El Terrat, Litus Pablo Novoa and the band. And we at Movistar Plus+. A unique, special, singular program. We want to share our excitement for the incredible moments we experienced in the recording. Long live Rock and Roll," he adds.

Andreu Buenafuente, executive producer of the new program, acknowledges that “for me, The dressing room It continues in the line of the programs that I have been lucky enough to do: a celebration of the profession of a musician. A tribute to the power of songs and, above all, to the men and women who make them possible. “We have found an intimate, but exciting and powerful format.”

Each program (6×50′) will end with an unprecedented and very special performance: a performance in which the three guests will cover with the band a hit from the history of music, a song chosen by them and in which they will share their different sensibilities and their ways of understanding music.
