Jeff Rosica will step down as CEO of Avid in early 2024

The new stage of Avid as part of STG – Symphony Technology Group, announced a few months ago, will not be led by Jeff Rosica, who has decided to leave the technology company at the beginning of 2024.

Rosica has shared this decision through a post LinkedIn, in which he revealed that he shared his decision with the rest of his team at Avid's last quarterly meeting. The still CEO of the company joined the company in January 2016, holding the position of senior vice president of sales and marketing. In December 2016 he became president, and later, in February 2018, he began serving as CEO.

Jeff Rosica believes that Avid's new stage with STG is the “optimal time” for the merger to take place transition: "We are innovating faster than ever, building on a strong market position and poised for even greater growth and success under the ownership of STG – Symphony Technology Group. It is an exciting position to be in today with enormous opportunities ahead, and I believe the time is right for a new CEO to lead the next phase of the company's journey."

Rosica seguirá durante varios meses al frente de Avid para así asegurar una correcta transición en este nuevo episodio de la historia de la tecnológica: “Continuaré como CEO durante unos meses más y ayudaré a contratar a mi sustituto en colaboración con STG, para que la transición sea fluida y sigamos por el buen camino para ayudar a todos nuestros clientes y continuar ejecutando el plan estratégico de Avid. Hasta entonces, ¡espero veros a muchos de vosotros en la carretera muy pronto!”
