Gol Play will stop broadcasting on DTT on June 10
Gol Play will leave the Digital Terrestrial Television (DTT) airwaves on June 10, although it will continue its broadcasts through platforms such as Movistar Plus+, Orange TV, Vodafone TV, Euskaltel and Telecable, as well as on its own OTT service Gol Stadium.
Gol Play, property of Mediapro It began broadcasting on June 1, 2016 through a DTT frequency rented from Veo Televisión. Now, nine years later, it is abandoning DTT and after losing the rights to broadcast the LaLiga match in open air, which ended up in the hands of DAZN, Gol Play has chosen to retract its sails and dispense with the high price that its free broadcast on land entailed.
Through Gol Stadium and the different platforms, Gol TV will continue to broadcast sports content such as the summaries of the First and Second divisions, and also the free-to-air LaLiga Hypermotion match, and the F League match.
