José María Irisarri will leave the presidency of Vértice 360 ​​in January

El actual presidente ejecutivo de la compañía presentará su dimisión durante la celebración del próximo consejo de administración que tendrá lugar el 18 de enero.

José María Irisarri will present his resignation as president of Vértice 360 ​​at the next board of directors scheduled for January 18. Irisarri, who will continue to be a director of the company, will leave his position as main executive, once a five-year period has passed since the creation of the group, to develop new professional projects.

Founded from Telson, an audiovisual services subsidiary of the former Avanzit (now Ezentis), Vértice has been consolidated in recent years as a project to integrate different companies within the audiovisual sector, such as Videoreport, Notro, Telespán, Apuntolapospo and Lavinia, among others.

En diciembre de 2007, Vértice se convirtió en la primera empresa independiente del sector de servicios y contenidos audiovisuales en cotizar en el parqué español, iniciando desde entonces su expansión internacional a Miami, Los Ángeles (Estados Unidos), Buenos Aires (Argentina), París (Francia), Bruselas (Bélgica) y Berlín (Alemania). Asimismo, se ha posicionado recientemente en un mercado de alto potencial de crecimiento como es el de los contenidos y desarrollos interactivos, con la creación de VerticeIN.

According to a note made public by Vértice 360, "having achieved most of the challenges set 5 years ago and overcome a period of extreme difficulty in the general economic environment and in the audiovisual sector in particular, the president has proposed a project to continue the group's development strategy in this new stage that included, among others, financially strengthening the company through the entry of a new partner. Given the differences on this approach expressed by some of the main shareholders and to avoid conflict situations that could harm the interests of the company, José María Irisarri will leave the presidency in an orderly manner to give way to a stage in which the board of directors must define the new business and financial strategy and appoint a top executive to carry it out.”

José María Irisarri was one of the founding partners of Globomedia, where he served as CEO. After fourteen years in said project, he undertook new professional challenges by creating the production and distribution company Notro Films, of which he was its president from its birth in 2004 until its integration into Vértice 360, at which time he assumed the position of executive president to this day.
