Manuel García-Durán assumes the executive presidency of Vértice 360
The executive president of Ezentis, who replaces José María Irisarri, considers the activity of the audiovisual company strategic. Vértice 360 begins a new stage that will be focused on international expansion and digitalization.
The president of the investment group Corporación Grupo Ezentis, Manuel García-Durán, will now assume the executive presidency of the Vértice 360 group, of which Ezentis is the main shareholder, with 28.6% of the capital. García-Durán has been elected by the majority in an extraordinary Board of Directors that, initially scheduled for the 18th, was brought forward to this Tuesday.
Manuel García-Durán replaces José María Irisarri as head of the company, who informed the Appointments and Remuneration Committee of Vértice 360º at the end of December of his intention to resign from his positions as president and CEO after five years at the head of the company.
Irisarri, who owns 3.27% of the capital of Vértice after the entry of the production company Notro into the audiovisual group, had in recent months a tense relationship with part of the group's shareholders, which has finally led to his resignation from the presidency.
García-Durán will thus make the management of Ezentis and that of Vértice 360 compatible, focusing his management on the objective of promoting its activity and turning the company into an international benchmark in the audiovisual field, especially in Spanish and Portuguese speaking. This will mean placing emphasis on the internationalization process, with the aim of creating a company with a marked Latin character and a decisive entry into the digital world.
Vértice 360 was established in October 2006, and is made up of the companies Telson, Videoreport, Notro Films, Manga Films, Telespan and Lavinia, covering a wide range of activities in the audiovisual sector.
