Korean Broadcasting System actualiza su intercom con un sistema IP de RTS
Headquartered in Yeouido, Seoul, Korean Broadcasting System (KBS) has undertaken large-scale renovations to its intercom infrastructure, including extensive installation of solutions RTS to implement a 100% IP network connection between the dozen of its broadcast locations throughout the country.
The system uses the flexible Omneo IP technology for audio transmission and control. with total support for Dante, OCA, ST 2110 and AES67/70, Omneo provides users with the interoperability and scalability needed to interact with thousands of devices across the network.
The RTS equipment list includes a Adam modular matrix full-size card at the heart of the system, equipped with OMI Omneo matrix interface cards. A pair of trunk arrays TM-10K They act as central nodes of the system, leveraging another unique RTS technology (RTS Trunking) to optimize connectivity between and across intercom matrices at other locations, creating a single virtual work location.
A total of 77 RTS control panels and 47 OEI-2 OMNEO external interfaces complete this mega RTS hardware installation that includes 18 software licenses VLink virtual matrix allow remote access to the system.
Hyudo Kwon of KBS and Taewan Kim of systems integrator Hyundai AutoEver worked with RTS key distributor BEEx Korea and Donggyu Lee and Edward Lim of RTS to ensure the success of this project.
