PSI Broadcasting reinforces its playout system with PlayBox Neo

PlayBox Neo has supplied a selection of servers Channel-in-a-Box to the Thai television network and playout service provider PSI Broadcasting.

Each of the servers, which are already located at the company's Bangkok headquarters, include the playout software system. AirBox Neo-20, the graphics solution TitleBox Neo-20 and ingestion software Capture Suite.

Based on a scalable multi-format parallel output streaming/playback engine, AirBox Neo-20 allows you to combine media files of various types into a single streaming playlist. Other notable features of the system include multiple simultaneous transmission outputs SDI/IP UHD/HD/SD, are the possibility of scheduling playlists several weeks in advance, the automatic correction of gaps and time overlaps, and the possibility of offering content from backup to be used if content files or schedules fail.

TitleBox y Capture Suite

TitleBox Neo-20, another fundamental part of the solution Channel-in-a-box, provides a selection of tools for titling, generating graphics and managing texts, either prior to transmission or live. The solution of PlayBox Neo allows you to create text animations, both horizontally and vertically; implement fixed or animated logos; analog or digital watches; banners, and chat texts with automated scrolling. Finally, Capture Suite, Playbox Neo's ingest software, allows you to control multiple channels from multiple servers through a single graphical interface. Capture Suite, as it could not be otherwise, integrates with AirBox Neo-20, allowing you to automate several of your processes. It can also be used independently to support workflows used by broadcasters, post-production companies or broadcast service providers.
