Riedel Artist on AMV

To improve its service to customers in the Los Angeles area, All Mobile Video (AMV) on the West Coast of the United States has upgraded its popular NYLA mobile unit with an Artist digital matrix intercom system from Riedel. Powered by the AMV West Coast Field Shop, the Artist system is familiar to many AMV customers on the West Coast due to its regular presence in production checks and other technical installations.

Kimberly Scholter, vice president of broadcast facilities at AMV West Coast, acknowledged that "when we were faced with replacing our analog intercom system, we were very clear that we would opt for Riedel. Riedel's strong presence in this area, and its great reputation among the industry in Los Angeles among both technology directors, intercom providers and operators with whom we interact regularly, made us opt for this fully digital system."

The new Artist Riedel system on AMV's NYLA mobile unit serves as an advanced modular communications platform with great power and versatility to address the different demands of the most modern intercom applications. “Based on a decentralized fiber network, it is possible to simplify audio distribution while guaranteeing clear and well-defined intercom communications.”

Joyce Bente, president and CEO of Riedel North America, notes that “Artist is a perfect choice for the company's NYLA mobile unit, as it will simplify the configuration and operation of a reliable, high-quality intercom system while increasing flexibility for users in live production environments.”
