Fox Sports Mexico installs a Riedel Artist digital intercom

Fox Sports México ha instalado recientemente en sus nuevos estudios de Ciudad de México una completa infraestructura para intercomunicación de Riedel. La solución escogida es Artist y permite vía VoIP conectar múltiples estudios tanto en las propias instalaciones como en lugares remotos en los EE.UU. y Argentina.

Fox Sports México has recently installed a complete Riedel intercom infrastructure in its new studios in Mexico City. The chosen solution is Artist and allows via VoIP to connect multiple studios both in the facilities themselves and in remote locations in the US and Argentina. Comtelsat México, Riedel's partner in Mexico, has been the integrator that launched this installation.

The system features one Artist 64 and two Artist 32 that, through a fiber ring, function as a single integral non-blocking array system. The Artist intercom digital matrix offers a decentralized and modular system that allows configurations from 8x8 to 1,024x1,024 ports without blocking. Depending on the application, FOX Sports Mexico opted for different combinations of the Riedel 1000, 2000 and 5000 control panels. A Riedel Performer digital partyline completes this digital intercom system.

Being based on IP technology, this installation also provides VoIP links to two branches in Mexico, as well as the FOX Sports headquarters in Los Angeles and Argentina, thus achieving cost-effective integration of remote locations.
