MediorNet 2.0, MediorNet MetroN and MediorNet as a WAN solution are other new features that Riedel will debut at this IBC.

Riedel Tango

Few details are still known about what the new generation of intercom matrix will be. Under the name of Tango, Riedel will present to the market a totally new intercom system that promises to “break the limits of other systems.”

On the other hand, in its European debut, Riedel will exhibit in Amsterdam MediorNet 2.0, a firmware update for the MediorNet real-time audio, video and data distribution network. This network provides high-speed video routing and re-routing functions.

At IBC we will also be able to see MediorNet MetroN, a new proposal from Riedel in 2RU that provides real-time routing for 64x 10G. MediorNet MetroN can operate independently of a MediorNet installation, or together with other MediorNet frames over fiber.

WAN capacity

Finally, note that MediorNet's routing and signal distribution has been expanded to include WAN capabilities. With support for error correction, broadcast and dynamic bitrate management, the Code One Transport Protocol used by MediorNet H.264 encoders and decoders ensures that the Internet can be used effectively for point-to-point transmission of audio and video in professional environments.

At its booth at IBC, Riedel will demonstrate other solutions such as MediorNet Modular and Compact, Performer, Artist and Acrobar communications systems, and RockNet fiber optic converters.
