Dear Reality (Sennheiser): new possibilities for immersive audio with dearVR Pro 2

The dearVR Pro 2 spatializer plugin is the latest release from Dear Reality, brand belonging to Sennheiser focused on the audio of the immersive world.

DearVR Pro 2, successor to the popular dearVR Pro, is a tool dedicated to the field of professional post-production and the music that counts among its main characteristics early realistic reflections, 46 presets virtual acoustics or a accurate perception of direction, distance, reflections and reverberation.

In its second version, DearVR Pro offers requested new features such as new filter modules. Each consisting of a high- and low-cut filter, they expand versatility and reduce unwanted noise or harsh frequencies in the early reflections or late reverb section. The system also stands out for presenting 35 multichannel speaker formats, including the latest formats DAW Pro Tools 9.0.4, 9.1.4 y 9.0.6.

Other features of DearVR Pro 2 from Dear Reality are the addition of Ambisonics (up to third order); binaural outputs; direct access to the audio position through a 360º XYZ graphic pad; Compatibility with any third-party OSC head tracker using the included Spatial Connect Adapter, or a new software stereo input function, allowing direct access to the stereo width.
