The renowned American executive Brendan Fitzgerald will lead a new stage in Secuoya Studios as the new CEO contributing to the achievement of the studio's projects for the coming years.

His extensive experience in the development, production and launch of prime time and OTT series in the United States, LatAm, Spain and Italy markets, as well as his extensive background in the creation and monetization of business opportunities between cultures will be key in achieving the objectives of Secuoya Studios for the coming years.

Faced with his new tasks as head of the studio, Brendan Fitzgerald expresses his “excitement” with this new project and professional stage, which coincides with the third anniversary of Secuoya Studios and the world premiere of Zorro. "Secuoya brings together a series of facets that distinguish it in the market. The company has a balance and a commitment to entertainment in all its forms, and I believe it is better prepared than most to adapt to changes in the market and consumer behavior in the short and medium term," emphasizes the studio's top executive.

The honorary president of the Spain Film Commission has a long career as an executive of the most important international channels and broadcasters. Until recently senior vice president of international co-productions in English at Sony Pictures Television, he has extensive experience in creating and monetizing commercial opportunities in different markets.

Thanks to this signing, the studio chaired by James Costos reinforces its management team in this new stage that aims to development of more than 20 projects in all its Content areas (series, long-running series, cinema and unscripted).

The company has demonstrated its ability to create, produce and distribute premium content in Spanish for the global market. National and international hits such as Supernormal, Monte Cristo y Zorro, which, after its premiere on Prime Video Mexico, is preparing for its release in Spain, Portugal and Andorra through Prime Video Spain and RTVE, endorse its commitments and objectives in these first three years of activity.

To these projects, there will be added almost a dozens of high-budget series, some of them in English, for the different national and international distribution and consumption channels; a long-running series in the pre-production phase and another in development, in addition to five own films, a dozen documentary series, without forgetting current affairs and entertainment programs for prime time and different time slots, weekly and daily, on national channels and regional networks make up the studio's ambitious and attractive catalog for its 2024-2026 development.
