Sonia Martínez assumes the role of Senior Advisor at Buendía Estudios

In order to reinforce the content strategy of the Buendía Studios, Sonia Martínez will advise general management from a strategic position in the creation and supervision of original projects.

Reporting to Ignacio Corrales, his position will focus primarily on the generation of original ideas y project evaluation as well as in the talent identification and management. She will also continue to serve as executive producer on selected projects.

Sonia Martínez is one of the most influential figures in the audiovisual industry in our country, her career is closely related to the production and realization of fiction and entertainment formats, being responsible for some of the most relevant and internationally praised Spanish fiction titles of the last decade such as The paper house, Vis à vis, Fariña, Gran Hotel, The time between seams, The pier, Poison, Castamar's cook, Thistle o Tefía's nights, among many others.

The production arm of the Atresmedia group is one of the leading content companies in the Spanish market. In the last year it has produced Greyhounds, Little faith, The Turkish passion, Beguinas, Marbella, Camilo Superstar, The sandbox, Ángela and Drag Race España All Stars, and very soon, the new installment of Physics or Chemistry, among other projects yet to be announced. He is also responsible for the production of the daily live magazine And now Sonsoles, leader in its segment. The studio recently announced the development of Sira, the continuation of the phenomenon The Time Between Seams based on the work of María Dueñas.
