Buendía Estudios shoots 'Ángela', new series for Antena 3 prime time

Adaptation of the successful Australian fiction 'Ángela Black' (ITV), Buendía Estudios Bizkaia with the participation of Atresmedia TV have begun filming the series 'Ángela'.

Verónica Sánchez, Daniel Grao, Jaime Zatarain and Lucía Jiménez lead the cast of the fiction, which is completed by Iván Marcos, Ane Gabarain, María Isabel Díaz Lago and the girls Maia Zaitegui and Sua Díez, among others.

This thriller tells the life of Ángela (Verónica Sánchez), a seemingly happy woman with her husband, Gonzalo (Daniel Grao), with whom she has two daughters. But beneath that idyllic facade, Angela hides a hell of abuse. Always in tension, Ángela's fragile balance ends up breaking when she meets Eduardo (Jaime Zatarain), an old high school classmate to whom she immediately feels attracted. However, thanks to the intervention of her best friend Esther (Lucía Jiménez), Ángela will discover that Edu is not who he says he is.

The series, which is filmed in locations in Vizcaya, including natural locations in Mungia, Mundaka and Bilbao, is directed by Tito López-Amado. It has Sonia Martinez y Borja Echeverria as executive producers and Montse Garcia, director of Fiction, by Atresmedia.

Lucia Alonso-Allende is the co-executive producer of Ángela, which has a script team made up of Sara Cano y Paula Fabra, con Jorge Blas as a script analyst. Emilio Gimenez He will be the Production Director. At the head of the Art direction will be Koldo Jones. The photography direction is carried out by Teo Delgado.

In the series, Angela leads a seemingly idyllic life from the outside: she has two fantastic daughters, a charming husband and a spectacular house. However, this facade is a fraud and it costs more and more effort to maintain it.
