The Goya on TVE reaches a share of 23.5% despite being the least watched gala since 2006
The 38th Goya gala, broadcast one more year by RTVE, brought together 2.35 million viewers in prime time with a screen share of 23.5%, however the three and a half hour duration of the ceremony weighed down the audience, making it the broadcast with the fewest viewers on average since 2006.
The broadcast on La1 presented by Ana Belén, Javier Ambrossi and Javier Calvo was followed at some point during the night by 6.6 million viewers. In addition, it achieved the 'golden minute' at 11:29 p.m. with 2,715,000 followers and 23.3% screen share. La1 was the leading channel of the day, with a 13.3% share.
The previous program with all the details and glamor of the red carpet, magenta this time, gathered 1,029,000 viewers and an average share of 10%. More than 3.4 million people watched it at one point.
Regarding the digital audience, in RTVE Play, the gala was followed by 129,306 viewers, 12% more than last year and the best figure to date. In total, 190,850 unique visitors connected with one of the available live signals, 21.3% more than in 2023, the highest follow-up in recent years. The most viewed minute of the live show is at the end of the gala, when Pedro Almodóvar presented the Goya for best film.
The different live shows on the red carpet add up to 58,111 total viewers on RTVE Play, among which the RTVE Play special with Inés Hernand stands out as the most viewed with 36,418 unique visitors. The special backstage program hosted by Galder Vargas and Inés Hernand improves last year's data (+3.5%) and becomes the most watched in recent years with 36,275 total unique visitors. RNE's film broadcast achieved 7,187 listeners, 37% more.
