Television Academy - Filming locations - Ceuta

On February 15, the Ceuta Chamber of Commerce will host a professional meeting organized by the Academy of Television and Audiovisual Sciences and Arts in which a group of experts from the audiovisual sector will address the issue of locations and filming.

After the welcome of President of the Autonomous City of Ceuta, Juan Jesús Vivas Lara, and President of the Chamber of Commerce of Ceuta, Karim Bulaix, will begin this discussion moderated by the president of the Television Academy Maria Casado. Renowned professionals such as Pepe Ripoll, executive producer of Buendía Studios (The Kabul unit (Movistar Plus+) o Tefía's nights (atresplayer)); Amaya Muruzábal, CEO of MContent y showrunner (Red Queen o Hernan (Prime Video)); José María Irisarri, president of Onza (English Quarter y The Ministry of Time (TVE)), y Begoña Álvarez, fiction director Unicorn Content (Missing (Prime Video) o The Marquis (Mediaset)).

“What are the main difficulties or challenges when choosing a location?”, “What is the role of filming offices and other allies on the ground?”, “Have filming been decentralized?”, “What opportunities do they offer for the audiovisual sector in different parts of the country?” or “What have new technologies contributed when it comes to recreating scenarios that help tell stories?” These are some of the topics that will be addressed in the colloquium, which can be followed live starting at 10:00 on the Television Academy's YouTube channel.

This day is part of the initiative “The Academy Breakfasts", which aims to be a meeting point for dialogue and reflection between members of the Academy and recognized professionals in the audiovisual sector in various fields. The format will travel in the coming months to other autonomous communities with the idea of ​​bringing together academics and audiovisual professionals throughout the Spanish territory.
