The Málaga Talent Award, awarded by the Malaga Festival In collaboration with La Opinión de Málaga, it has recognized the vision of the Zaragoza director Pilar Palomero, author of works such as 'The Girls' (2020, Biznaga de Oro for best film at the 23rd Málaga Festival) or 'La Maternal' (2022).

Precisely, De Molina has highlighted how, with “just two films, you have brought us a new universe, you have given voice to themes that had been silenced.” "It's incredible the ability you have to create magic in front of a camera and how we viewers are stunned by all the truths you manage to show. As a viewer I long for you, as a partner I celebrate you and as a woman I revere you. Congratulations Pilar and thank you very much," the actress said.
After the emotional words of his colleagues, Palomero went on stage and received the award Málaga Talent by the hand of his sister. She wanted to thank all her colleagues and friends one by one for having her accompanied on this special day. He also wanted to thank the Festival and his family: "I receive this award, above all, thinking about the films that are to come. I have thought a lot about them, not about themes, budgets or results, but about how I would like them to be put together, about the team that I am going to surround myself with."
Likewise, he has dedicated a moment to transferring what complex of his career as a woman in a once eminently masculine world: "A filming can be a traumatic process. This is what I thought before and I base it on my own experiences, it is a totally genuine feeling. I found myself in a hostile job, with few or no women. Therefore, I faced my first filming as a director with great enthusiasm, but also with fear. The good thing is that I have formed a team full of talented and, above all, kind people."
Finally, he wanted to end with a message of gratitude to his parents and to the Malaga film event: "Many thanks to the Festival, to my family, especially my parents. I am very happy, I am going to celebrate this award and I will remember it forever."
