JVC will unveil its first series of 4x zoom PTZ cameras at NAB 2024
The new KY-PZ540 and KY-PZ540N PTZ cameras that JVC will be exhibited at NAB 2024 in Las Vegas (USA) have a focal depth that reaches a 40x zoom. Additionally, it has built-in NDI HX3 capabilities.
The cameras also incorporate the technology Variable Scan Mapping from JVC, that dynamically scan 4K sensor to produce a seamless, lossless image transition of up to 40x in full resolution HD. The cameras are ideal for large event spaces and cases where the need to zoom remotely is essential.
Joe D'Amico, vice president of JVC Professional Video, comments: "We asked our key customers what feature was most requested and their request was a PTZ camera capable of 40x zoom in 1080/60p mode at an affordable price. We already have an award-winning PTZ product - increasing the zoom magnification while maintaining the affordable price of the unit allowed us to meet the needs of a broader segment of customers."
JVC's new proposals also incorporate the operation of sSMART automatic tracking advanced enabled Artificial intelligence and the capabilities of IP-based remote operation compatible with IS. JVC has recently expanded its automatic tracking to include five new advanced features: Standard, Area, Stage, Wide Area and Fine Tuning modes.
In addition, they have also been added presets for exposure, color and image. These updates provide additional benefits in frame composition, zones, and operating modes. There is also a class of device USB video (UVC) Available for direct connection to Zoom, Google Meet and other online video conferencing programs.
