The Blackmagic Pocket Camera and Cinema Camera 6K expand their possibilities with software 8.6

The new software update Blackmagic Camera 8.6 Beta, aimed at the Blackmagic Pocket Camera and Cinema Camera 6K, introduces new features that respond to some of the main user demands.

Software version 8.6 Blackmagic Camera offers the expected network support, allowing the uploading of files and proxies directly to the company cloud. Likewise, the commitment to the cloud universe is confirmed with the possibility of connecting mobile phones via USB-C to facilitate connection to Blackmagic Cloud.

Other important new features that the Blackmagic Pocket Camera and the Cinema Camera 6K receive are a new media file browser; the possibility of using the camera as a webcam device via USB-C; direct uploads to projects DaVinci Resolve; possibility to update and manage the camera through Ethernet, and several improvements regarding gyroscope o hard drive detection via USB-C.

This public beta of Blackmagic Camera software 8.6 is now available through the support website from the manufacturer.
