Patrick Harshman will retire as president and CEO of Harmonic on June 11, 2024, when Nimrod Ben-Natan, current senior vice president and general manager of the broadband business, will take over.

Ben-Natan He joined Harmonic in 1996 as software engineer to design and develop its first-generation video streaming platform and, since 2012, has led the broadband business of Harmonic as senior vice president and general manager. For Harmonic itself, his “visionary leadership” has been “pivotal” in the development and deployment of the company’s Emmy-winning cOSTM virtualized broadband technology.

Patrick Gallagher, Chairman of the Board of Directors at Harmonic, explains why the board chose Ben-Natan as Harashman's successor: "As part of a thoughtful succession planning process, we conducted a thorough evaluation of internal and external candidates with the support of a leading search firm. Nimrod was the most notable: his leadership has been instrumental in the rapid growth of the company's innovative, market-leading virtualized broadband access solutions. He is admired and respected by our employees and customers, and the Board is confident that his strategic vision, experience and business acumen will drive Harmonic's future success.”

Harshman has said goodbye to the position stating that assuming it has been “the privilege of my life“Together we have strategically repositioned the company as a global leader in next-generation broadband solutions and video transmission and distribution solutions, successfully expanding our customer base, our international presence and our product portfolio. Nimrod is the ideal person to lead Harmonic and our talented global team in its next chapter of innovation and growth.” On the other hand, Ben-Natan He says he is “full of energy and excited to take on the role of CEO” and anticipates that the colleague “will build on the solid foundation we have established” to continue “revolutionizing broadband networks and cloud streaming.”
