Teradek Ace 750: An affordable wireless video system with zero delay
Teradek will debut at NAB 2024 the new Ace 750, an affordable wireless video system with zero delay for cameras and HDMI workflows and designed with the same technology as the popular Bolt series.
Greg Smokler, Vice President of Cinema Products at Creative Solutions, highlights that "we designed the Ace 750 so that professionals who are starting out can access Teradek's exclusive 6 GHz lag-free wireless video technology as they develop their careers, and their camera kits. This new Ace is fully compatible with all Bolt 4K and Bolt 6 products using our chip Teradek BB3 patented to achieve less than 1 millisecond latency, which is more than 70 times faster than Wi-Fi-based systems.”
Ace 750 is a lightweight and compact HDMI wireless video system with integrated antennas designed for use with mirrorless cameras, camcorders, action cameras and A/V workflows.
It is capable of send 4Kp30 video and audio, HDR, without compression delay and with a range of up to 230 meters. Ace 750 es cCompatible with Bolt 4K and Bolt 6 in 5 GHz and 6 GHz modes, and meets FCC and CE guidelines for frequency usage and power output. Ace 750 features an integrated hole pattern for mounting and can be powered by NP-F or LP-E6 batteries via an optional L-shaped shoe.
The transmitter (TX) and receiver (RX) units automatically detect and select the canal de RF de 5Ghz o 6GHz with less interference and employ automatic frequency switching to maintain optimal signal quality. Ace comes paired at the factory. The TX can send video to up to six RX devices at the same time using the Bolt Manager app for iOS or Android.
