G4: the evolution of Sennheiser's popular wireless audio system

The fourth generation of the Evolution range is the most versatile and flexible microphone series for the most demanding applications.

Sennheiser has renewed its wireless microphone system from conferences to critical applications such as film or television production with the launch of the new system that 300 G4 Available in three product lines: the 100P, 300 and 500P series.

With the new Sennheiser ew 300 G4, called to replace the current EW-G3 line, Sennheiser now offers a even greater flexibility and optimized support for digital workflows. Thanks to its remote control and the monitoring of the Sennheiser Control Cockpit software, the fourth generation of evolution wireless is the most versatile and flexible microphone series for all the most demanding applications.

The system made with high quality components, and has been further optimized in its fourth generation. Sennheiser's new proposal will be available in three sets: Manual set with MME 865 condenser microphone capsule; Lavalier set with 2 ME 2 condenser clip-on microphones; and Head microphone set with 1 excellent SL Headmic behind the neck microphone.

Handheld transmitters, bodypack transmitters and Rack Receiver are also offered as individual components. The charging and antenna components complete the catalog of the ew 300 G4 range to guarantee the best operation and reliability in each application.

Evolution Wireless G4 improves the performance of the current G3 series in terms of sound quality, faster adjustments, greater transmission range and longer use times.

The line Sennheiser Evolution Wireless G4 is available in three series, the 100, 300 and 500. The 100P series is aimed primarily at video and broadcast production, easy to use, simple to assemble and of high quality. The new 100P G4 series maintains the same design and interface as the current models but extends its transmission range up to 100 meters and reaches an operating time of up to eight hours. The 100P series can also perform an auto scan to find the available frequency bands to use, being able to synchronize 12 channels in seconds.

The 500P series is the top of the Sennheiser Evolution Wireless G4 range and is aimed at recording sound for film productions or events located in large spaces.
These systems can operate up to 32 transmission channels in parallel and reach a bandwidth of up to 88Mhz with increased RF output power (up to 50 mW) that provides greater security whatever the conditions. The transmitter now has phantom power, and all products in the series maintain the same ease of use and quick adjustment as the rest of the G4 range. Its battery works up to 8 hours autonomously.

The proven reliability and high output power of the Evolution Wireless microphone series could still be further developed. ew 300 G4 offers up to 88 MHz of improved bandwidth for faster channel configuration. The 11 frequency variants between 470 and 865 MHz meet the requirements of local legislation worldwide, for flexible installations with the mobile or fixed microphone.

Evolution Wireless is renowned for its excellent performance in multi-channel operations. With up to 50 mW of switchable transmit power and enhanced switching bandwidth of up to 88 MHz, ew 300 G4 is suitable for all types of multi-channel installations for any indoor or outdoor event. Together with the wide range of antenna components, even the largest installations can be adjusted and optimized in the blink of an eye.

Remote control

To ensure optimal performance, even with large-scale installations, the entire ew 300 G4 system can be remote control with Sennheiser's next-generation software solutions. For fixed installations, the Sennheiser Control Cockpit software is the ideal tool for easy operation, control and maintenance of the entire ew 300 G4 system. In installations and mobile scenarios, Sennheiser Wireless Systems Manager is the right choice.
