Sennheiser has completely redesigned its classic hot shoe microphone for videographers WIFE 400 introducing new features and a completely new look designed for a new generation of content creators.

The design of the new Sennheiser MKE 400 is inspired by the more compact MKE 200, launched last year, and the result is a shotgun microphone that is sleeker and smaller than its predecessor.

The microphone will be supplied with 3.5mm TRS and TRRS cables, so it can be used with both mobile phones and DSLR and mirrorless cameras. The MKE 400 will also be available as a mobile kit, which includes a mini tripod Manfrotto and a Sennheiser smartphone clamp.
