Ovide together with QTake bring live stereoscopy to NAB

Visitors to NAB 2024 can get an exclusive preview of Live 3D Stream at the booth QTake y Ovid demonstrating the possibility of live stereoscopy transmission with reception on Apple Vision Pro glasses.

QTake has been offering unique support for many years stereoscopy with 3D output standard in live or playback mode. Now the device Apple Vision Pro presents an incredible opportunity for on-set monitoring, especially in an environment with limited space and lighting. The advanced technology of Apple Vision Pro opens up new possibilities and turns this device into a personal 3D monitor with an unmatched viewing experience.

While other solutions offer 3D playback support with Apple Vision Pro, QTake Monitor stands out for its ability to stream live 3D content directly to this device. This capability opens up unprecedented possibilities for filmmakers, allowing them to view and interact with stereoscopic content in real time, making critical decisions on set more efficiently than ever.

Among the main features of Live 3D Stream we find the possibility of working in 2D and 3D multivision, con ultra low latency y resolution up to 4K.

Live 3D Stream for Apple Vision Pro is currently available in beta and its official release will be announced shortly.

In addition to this new proposal, QTake and Ovide are carrying out demonstrations of the latest official version QTake Pro 2.2, including a set of industry-first features such as the definitive Dolby Vision workflow, forensic watermarking and other innovations that redefine the standards of video assistance.

They have also advanced the next workss, such as script coverage, high frame rate support and improved metadata export, as well as the preview of the new QTake ThunderFace 4K Duo output device.

At NAB 2024 we can also see a prototype of video assist for mastering productions with Dolby Vision, at 12G and with 12 bit video. It has 8 SDI inputs and 24 outputs and the start of industrial production will begin in a few weeks.
