Brainstorm brings advances in the integration of advanced technologies and the Metaverse within the 6G-BRICKS project
Brainstorm, a company specialized in real-time 3D graphics solutions, XR/VR/AR and virtual studios, and the Institute of Industrial Systems (ISI), an R&D institute that carries out basic research and exploratory development in information and communications technologies for Greek and European industry, reveal their latest innovation together: the project 6G-BRICKS.

A look into the future

Key features of these Metaverse apps include both next generation immersive streaming content (offering a new dimension of content through an example of future immersive debates, showing the potential of Metaverse interactions for upcoming mass media productions) and a virtual collaboration space focused on empowering teams to collaborate in dynamic and interactive 3D environments that foster creativity and innovation, supported by holographic telecommunications.
Innovative architecture
Christos Verikoukis, from the Institute of Industrial Systems, coordinator of the 6G-BRICKS project, comments on the technical solutions provided that "the 6G-BRICKS architecture introduces a novel design focused on Intent-Driven Autonomous Networks (IDAN), disaggregated management planes and revolutionary 6G technologies such as Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces (RIS) and Cellless networks. This architecture promises an agile and evolutionary platform that supports a wide range of applications from the “Digital twin to ultra-low latency and high reliability communications. Furthermore, the 6G-BRICKS project architecture is a testament to our commitment to innovation and excellence. Our architecture is based on a robust and scalable framework that ensures a seamless and responsive user experience. By incorporating advanced technologies such as blockchain for secure transactions, AI for dynamic content generation, and cloud computing for scalability, we are setting new standards in the development of the Metaverse.”
