Grup Mediapro produces the Chile Cup from one of the most remote soccer fields on the planet

The opening match of the Chile Cup has been produced by Mediapro Group from the football field on Robinson Crusoe Island, located 400 miles from the mainland and off trade routes.

Mediapro Chile (Mediapro Group) has been responsible for the television signal of the opening match of the Chile Cup, held in one of the most remote professional fields on the planet: isla Robinson Crusoe, in the Juan Fernández archipelago. Far from commercial shipping routes, the entire production device made a two-day journey (from Valparaíso to the island) aboard Achilles, a ship of the Chilean Navy. The match, held last Saturday, pitted Juan Fernández's team against the Santiago Wanderers Club and brought together practically the 1,000 inhabitants of the island.

Mediapro Chile carried out a complex production to be able to transport the professionals and the technical material necessary to make and transmit the match signal throughout the country through TNT Sports. The team of professionals and even the soccer players also made this 45-hour journey in the Achilles.
