Spain Audiovisual Hub publishes the 2nd Report on the audiovisual sector

After the first edition launched in July 2023, Spain Audiovisual Hub has prepared the second report on the Spanish audiovisual sector that arises as a result of the implementation of the Plan.

It offers a comprehensive analysis of the audiovisual industry (cinema, television, OTT video, advertising, video games, eSports, animation, metaverse, extended reality and sustainability in the sector), with special attention to the economic and social repercussions and national and global evolution before and after the pandemic.

Each area is analyzed in detail, but with a focus on ehe economic and social impact of the audiovisual industry, as well as in its possible future scenarios.

The report also seeks to evaluate the impact of equality and sustainability policies, which are transversal to the Government's economic policy. Therefore, it is not limited to being a mere compilation of data and graphs, but rather aspires to inspire and challenge the industry, as well as to demonstrate the strength and determination of the joint effort of the entire country in promoting well-being and economic development.

This report not only documents, but highlights the excellence of Spain's audiovisual industry and its driving role in the economy, presenting an objective analysis rigorously based on the most recent information available.
