Gadinano South Series advances keys of its second edition

After a first edition with more than 3,700 accredited professionals, the Festival South Series He returns to Cádiz from October 25 to 31 by reinforcing his alliance with Mediaset Spain and Movistar Plus+, and confirming France as a guest country.

For seven days, the South Series (South International Series Festival) will facilitate meetings between industry professionals, “novel and dynamic” activities with a content of the highest quality, and the presence of national and international impact speakers to boost personal and professional relationships in lúdic and informal environments. The Palacio de Congresos de Cádiz will once again be the headquarters of the Festival and Celebrities meeting point on its red carpet, industry and public experts. Likewise, Santa Catalina Castle will accommodate other moments of this edition.

One more year, Mediaset Spain would be media sponsor of the contest. Mediterranean Mediaset España Group presented important novelties such as Interviews, comedy SERRIES, Actor Wood, o el docureality The Galindos, the whole truth. For its part, Movistar Plus+ repeats as a collaborating platform, which last year presented its originals Greyhounds, Macarena And the second season of The Immortal. This year is incorporated into the Unifrance agreement, having France as a guest country.

Among other novelties, in this edition an agreement has been closed with The Writers Guild Foundation, an organization that preserves and promotes the office of film screenwriter in Hollywood, we can count on one of its selected scriptwriters that will teach a masterclass in the days of the festival.

South Series is a private initiative, co-financed by the Feder Andalucía 2021-2027 and the Junta de Andalucía, which has the City of Cádiz and the Diputación de Cádiz as official entities. In its first edition, the appointment hosted 38 activities with 120 speakers and 57 projections in which 18 platforms from eleven countries participated.
