Stage Fifty

The president of the Region of Murcia, Fernando López Miras, meets this Tuesday at Sky Studios in London with James Enright, CEO of Stage Fifty, as well as with the main representatives of NBCUniversal, Warner Bros and Universal in order to promote the Murcia Film Studios project.

The future audiovisual city that will be located in Torres de Cotillas, a town located 20 kilometers northwest of the capital of Murcia, will occupy nearly 100,000 square meters in the Los Cármenes Business Park and will have all types of audiovisual services from various sets, video and audio post-production rooms.

The British company Stage Fifty manages, designs and develops film and television studios, creating better creative spaces for content creators. It currently has five locations dedicated to film and television production where they offer professional facilities and solutions for filming and productions around the world.

Con more than 30 years of experience, Stage Fifty understands the demands of a production and are equipped to respond quickly, providing the best operational and service support. Now, it intends to promote a new production center in southern Europe, this time choosing the Region of Murcia, in a project in which it will partner with Universal Productions Services.

Sustainability

Sustainability is one of their concerns and for this they have developed new technologies and innovative ways to build greener studios and maintain them with a consumption of renewable energy. Their commitment is to “have a positive impact on our industry and the global community through sustainable practices.”

From the Development Institute of the Region of Murcia, in charge of the long negotiations during the last months, they highlight that Murcia Film Studios will boost the local and regional economy and will promote job creation in the audiovisual sector.
