MRMC Super Milo combines precision and high speed
Super Milo, the evolution of the Milo robotic camera control system developed by MRMC, promises “unmatched and repeatable” camera movements for environments such as creating visual effects.
He Super Milo significantly improves the speed, acceleration, range and quick assembly of his predecessor. The system developed by MRMC It can reach speeds of up to 3 m/s on the track and 5 m/s with combined camera movement for filming that requires high operating speed. Thanks to your brushless motors of the latest generation, the manufacturer starts from Nikon promises speeds up to 100% faster y aceleraciones hasta un 400% más rápidas than the original Milo; all, with the ability to support a 35kg camera payload.
Beyond the increased speed, Super Milo stands out for offering movements softer and more stable below ground level to a maximum height of 6.1 meters. The solution also integrates easy to assemble extensions, which offer flexible recording configurations, as well as electronic lifting systems that streamline track installation. These improvements allow the assembly to be completed, according to the MRMC, “in less than an hour.”
Assaff Rawner, CEO of MRMC, celebrates how the company's engineering team has been able to shape a team with unthinkable features a few years ago: "The success of the Milo paved the way for other motion control systems, but it remains a reference in the sector for its stability, reliability and unparalleled quality of results. It previously seemed impossible to conceive that an improved version of this equipment could exist. However, so it is. The Super Milo will continue to be an example of MRMC's commitment to excellence in cinematography and demonstrates our latest advances in macro and high-speed robotic camera technology."
