Crosscast has launched its new XCAM 1050, a FullHD micro camera capable of capturing up to 1050 frames per second.

Second generation of this series of Crosscast cameras, it has been designed with multi-camera broadcast or filming environments in mind. The new model incorporates a unit for iris and focus control, and a fiber adapter.

Crosscast XCam1050The German company promises that the use of this camera can lead to up to 65% savings compared to other high-speed camera systems. Since the camera is designed with high-speed playout capability, no external equipment is necessary for live production.

Equipped with a CMOS sensor, the XCAM150 allows recording up to 1050fps (350fps native) with high speed and direct output simultaneously. The camera barely weighs 128 grams, and measures just 53x42x44 mm. This allows it to be attached to all types of poles and cranes such as Polecam.
