Canon updates XF705 firmware with more high-speed HDR and recording options
Additional recording modes of the XF-AVC codec enable support for news and broadcast workflows, with 50i support in Full HD.
Canon ha updated firmware from your camera XF705 to now offer greater encoding options with XF-AVC and MP4 recordingas well as compatibility HDR for high speed recording.
Additional recording modes of the XF-AVC codec enable support for news and broadcast workflows, with 50i support in Full HD. The camera will allow recording in 4K at 3840×2160 29.97p/ 23.98p/ 25p and in Full HD at 1920×1080 120P/ 100p/ 59.94i/ 50i.
It also now supports MP4 recording, for quick recording and sharing, meeting the needs of any user who needs to record video in optimized production workflows (Full HD: 1920 × 1080 59.94P/ 29.97p/ 23.98p/ 50p/ 25p; 720p: 1280 × 720 59.94P).
HDR at high speed
Canon has also added HDR support to the FHD XF-HEVC, for recording at fast speeds, with Hybrid Log Gamma y Perceptual Quantization, grabando a 1920 x 1080 120p / 100p
Other updates for the XF705 camcorder include advanced Ethernet compatibility, through IP broadcast and FTP transfer, remote control via browser, through Ethernet o Wi-Fi, output at 720/60P HD-SDI 4:2:2, advanced zoom operation and improved image quality, and reduction of 60p signal to 24p / 30p (SDI signal output only).
La actualización de firmware permitirá también cambiar las asignaciones de las teclas y del dial, para que CH1 y CH3 puedan nivelarse con el dial de audio CH2. Además, Canon ha añadido monitorización CH1/CH3 y CH2/CH4 al menú del ‘canal de monitor’ y grabación del color en el modo IR (requiere una modificación en el hardware, sujeto a coste)
