Lawo Expands Home Apps with Downstream Keyer App

La Décima Home Apps Theirs, the new Home DSK Multi-Layer Downstream Keyer, will land imminently to offer keying and mixing capabilities to all types of IP environments.

Home Downstream Keyer allows operators to perform simultaneous and independent transitions of up to three layers of key about a A/B background mix. This solution, Lawo's first mixing processing application, is introduced to the market with eight receivers ST 2110-20 and two transmitters ST 2110-20. Likewise, each of the three Keyers can perform Luma, Linear o Self keying to provide a Premium processing with transparencies and shadows.

As part of the Home Apps suite, Home Downstream Keyer can be deployed in workflows SDR y HDR. It is compatible with SMPTE ST2110 (JPEG XS included), NDI, SRT and Dante AV transport according to the preferences of each broadcaster. Like all Home apps, Home Downstream Keyer can license perpetually or apply ad-hoc through Lawo Flex subscription credits.

Downstream Keyer is the tenth Home Apps application, an ecosystem that expanded at the last IBC 2024 with the launch of Home Test Pattern/Test Tone Generator (TPG), Home Color Corrector con procesamiento HDR, Home Timecode Generator y Home Delay. These apps already coexist with the first batch of Lawo Home Apps, among which are Home mc² DSP, Home Multiviewer, Home UDX Converter con procesamiento HDR, Home Stream Transcoder y Home Graphic Inserter.
