Movistar Plus+ continues to expand its catalog of original series with 'Los sin nombre', a psychological thriller directed by Pau Freixas ('Everyone lies') produced in collaboration with Filmax.
The nameless, co-created by Pol Cortecans (Others) and his own ash trees, adapts the novel of the same name by Ramsey Campbell to offer a “thriller with small supernatural touches.” Written by Cortecans and directed by Ash, the series has begun its filming in Barcelona to later spread to other municipalities such as Calders, Cerdanyola del Vallès, El Prat de Llobregat, Esparreguera, L’Hospitalet de Llobregat, Lliçà d’Amunt, Seva, Terrassa, Sant Adrià de Besòs, Sant Cugat del Vallès, Sant Feliu de Llobregat, Santa Coloma de Cervelló, Vidrà (Girona) or Poble Nou del Delta (Tarragona).
ash trees, also producer of the format, transfers the sensations that you are having in the early stages of your filming: "The series is already beginning to show its soul. When I lift the scenes and see the characters on the monitor, they drag me into a disturbing and hypnotic world, with a great addictive component and truly shocking sensations. It is a thriller with small supernatural touches, and although we could say that it asks whether miracles exist, what the series really talks about is the need for people to believe in something. To find meaning in their lives." On the other hand, Fran Araújo, executive producer at Movistar Plus+, emphasizes that the series scripts “are addictive and full of personality”: “It has all the ingredients we look for in a series: point of view, artistic ambition and desire to reach a large audience.”
This is the synopsis of The nameless, an original series that will arrive in 2025 and will star Miren Ibargu's (Supernormal, Madrid burns), like Claudia; Rodrigo de la Serna (The Money Heist, motorcycle diaries), like Salazar, and Milena Smit (The 2nd hole, Parallel mothers), as Laura: “Claudia, a woman who loses her daughter Angela in a traumatic way only to discover, years later, just when she begins to recover from the trauma, that her daughter may still be alive. "Mom, it's me, Angela. Please come get me!" This is the shocking phrase that Claudia hears on the phone and that will give her hope. Claudia will then turn to Salazar, the inspector who handled the case after the disappearance, and to Laura, the young woman whose life Angela, a special girl with a strange gift, saved after a serious traffic accident. Together they will follow the little girl's trail through mysterious places that hide a terrifying truth."
