Limecraft - ITV Studios Daytime Television Centre London

The arrival of the platform Limecraft a ITV Studios Daytime It allows the British studio to optimize its ingestion processes, improve its collaboration processes in real time and enhance its transcription capabilities.

Located at London's Television Centre, ITV Studios Daytime is responsible for some of the UK's most popular and high-profile programmes, including Good Morning Britain, Lorraine, This Morning y Loose Women. With up to 500 hours of raw content processed each month, ITV Studios Daytime needed to improve the way it manages, transcribes and reviews its audiovisual assets in an agile way. After studying the market, ITV decided to opt for Limecraft, a solution that integrates directly into its Avid MediaCentral system.

By integrating Limecraft's transcription and file sharing capabilities into the core of Avid MediaCentral, ITV has seen huge improvements in efficiencies. Recording and file sharing processes, which previously involved “excessive manual work”, have been accelerated and simplified, freeing up resources and allowing ITV production teams to focus on creating content rather than managing technical tasks. This is explained by John Barling, head of technology at ITV Studios Daytime: "We were previously big users of WeTransfer, but sharing files from Avid was a clunky process. Limecraft has transformed this process. Now, our teams can easily find content, clip it and share it with their colleagues, streamlining our workflow and improving collaboration in ways we haven't seen before."

ITV Studios Daytime has begun to benefit from Limecraft transcription technology, capable of managing large volumes of multimedia content in real time. Additionally, ITV post-production teams are now able to review, annotate and share media files instantly, enabling real-time feedback and more fluid collaboration between departments.

Nick Thomas, Head of Post Production at ITV Studios Daytime, adds: "We have always strived to innovate and Limecraft has enabled us to do so. By making our file sharing and transcription processes faster and more reliable, Limecraft has become a crucial part of our daily operations."
