CMM breaks its own record and adds 200 million views in 2024
The digital windows of CMM, cmmedia.es and CMMPlay continue to grow to 6 million unique users and add more than 200 million views in 2024, allowing Castilian-La Mancha radio and television to beat its own record.
In 2024, CMM contents have been viewed 200 million times on the internet, which means a 10% increase compared to the previous year. CMM's digital community is also growing: in 2024, 6 million unique users have been through the radio and television web platform at some point. Most of them have done so consume news (3.8 million users) and live and on-demand content from CMMPlay (1.9 million users). For CMM's digital content director, Isaiah Blazquez, this growth demonstrates “that CMM content is of interest regardless of the device on which it is consumed.”
Released in 2018, CMMPlay achieved more than 100,000 subscribers in just one year thanks to sports and cultural broadcasts, and the Knowledge, Health and Field public service channels. In 2022 renewed its structure to accommodate all radio and television content, in direct and on demand, skyrocketing CMM's digital content consumption to over 600,000 unique users every month.
In 2024, the web platform has added 30 million content views: news, live shows, programs and sections of Castilla-La Mancha Media. To these we must add others 170 million views on social networks: adapted, vertical, subtitled content that includes the most relevant content from Radio Castilla-La Mancha, Castilla-La Mancha Media television and the CMMPlay platform.
