Clive Mumby and Vishal Kagdada take on new responsibilities at Shotoku to drive innovation and growth

Shotoku has reshuffled its structure by appointing Clive Mumby and Vishal Kagdada as director of robotics products and director of sales, respectively.

After seven years as sales director of Shotoku, Mumby assumes his new position as robotics product manager of the company. His more than 30 years of career in television environments commercial, including his positions at international broadcasters and multiple broadcast equipment suppliers, position him to drive Shotoku's continued product development.

"Shotoku has a well-deserved reputation within the broadcast industry as a leader in robotics technology. I look forward to continuing the work we have done and driving our product development plans to an even higher level," said Mumby himself. James Eddershaw, CEO of Shotoku, adds: "Clive's extensive experience will be invaluable as we continue to innovate. He will be instrumental in helping us develop the exciting new products and applications we see in the future, whilst maintaining the existing reliability and reputation for performance that Shotoku is known for."

On the other hand, Vishal Kagdada, who joined Shotoku as technical sales director in 2021 bringing with him significant experience in broadcast systems integration as well as the manufacturing of precision engineered systems, will take on the role of sales director. In his new role, he will play an even greater role in supporting and growing Shotoku's global customer base, made up of some of the national and international broadcasting higher profile.

In his first statements as sales director, Kagada "Shotoku is a recognized global leader in broadcast robotics and I have been excited to be part of that story for the past four years. I now welcome the opportunity to build on the great work Clive and I have done over the past few years and further grow our customer base and sales revenue." In this regard, Eddershaw comments: "I am delighted that Vishal has been promoted to the role of Sales Director. His proven sales success with us, and elsewhere, coupled with his deep knowledge of our advanced systems will undoubtedly continue to drive our growth."
