Prime Video will offer the NBA regular season in Spain
Prime Video closes a global audiovisual rights agreement with the American basketball league to broadcast the league's games for eleven years NBA, thus becoming the first live sports broadcast in Spain at no additional cost for members of the platform.
Prime members in Spain will have exclusive access to the broadcast of 87 NBA regular season games, including seven games in the Emirates NBA Cup knockout rounds, all games in the SoFi NBA Play-In postseason tournament, a third of the first and second round games of the NBA Playoffs, one Conference Finals series per year and the NBA Finals for six of the 11 years of the agreement.
In addition to NBA coverage, Prime Video will also be the strategic partner and will host the NBA League Pass as part of additional Prime Video subscriptions globally. NBA League Pass is the NBA's subscription service for streaming live and on-demand games in the United States and internationally. This will offer fans access to even more regular season and postseason games for an additional monthly cost.
Starting in 2026, Prime Video users in Spain will be able to exclusively watch 30 WNBA regular season games each season, including the WNBA Commissioner's Cup game presented by Coinbase. Prime Video will also have exclusive WNBA postseason games, including one first-round series each year, seven semifinal series and three WNBA Finals over the course of the 11-year deal.
